The Freedman Seating Intern Cohort (FSIC) in Chicago offers paid, hands-on learning experience for college students interested in manufacturing, engineering, business, and related fields. Interns will collaborate with experienced professionals, gain industry-specific knowledge, and contribute to projects across various departments. The program fosters a supportive environment, providing valuable insight into the transportation seating industry, while offering mentorship and networking opportunities that help interns build a strong foundation for their careers.
We are currently seeking interns in the following areas:
- Accounting
- Design Engineer
- Human Resources
- Information Technology
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Production
- Quality & Testing
Is this you?
- Undergraduate student in a related field of study
- Successfully completed introduction courses in the subject (i.e. Accounting, Engineering, HR, IT, or related)
- Comfortable working on-site in office and manufacturing settings

Pay Rate: $18 – $22 per hour
Freedman Seating determines pay based on several factors, including but not limited to the position being offered, education, skills, work experience, and other factors permitted by law. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
